By Kayla Lee LG Chem and Italian energy group Eni Sustainable Mobility jointly announced on Sept. 14 that they are exploring the possibility to develop and operate a new biorefinery at LG Chem’s Daesan chemical complex, 80 kilometers southwest of Seoul, South Korea. 시민행정신문 이정하 기자 | 정우익 통일교육위원은 지난 2023년 9월 13일(수) 오후 2시 통일부 남북회담본부 회담장에서 열린 ‘2023년 민간통일운동 유공 정부포상 전수식’에서 대통령 표창을 수상했다. 국립통일교육원은 매년 민간통일운동 활성화 및 통일교육 발전, 북한인권 증진에 기여한 유공자를 포상하여 이들에게 자긍심을 심어줌으로써 통일기반 구축과 통일역량 확충에 기여하고 있다. 정우익 통일교육위원은 2012년부터 통일교육위원으로 활동하며 학교통일순회강좌와 통일현장체험학습을 실시·운영하였고, 대학생 및 지역사회주민을 대상으로도 지속적으로 통일교육을 실천해왔다. 또한, 제16·18·21기 민주평화통일자문회의 자문위원으로 활동하며 사회통일교육 활성화에 이바지하였으며, 2018~2019년에는 통일선도대학 연구책임자로 위촉되어 통일교육 프로그램 개발 및 보급에 헌신하였다. 정우익 통일교육위원은 이와 같은 노력을 인정받아 총 4번의 통일부 장관 표창을 받았으며, 특히 ‘제1회 통일교육위원 활동 우수사례 공모전’에서 대상을 차지한 바도 있다. 이 밖에도 ‘남북정상회담을 바라본 자문위원의 생각(2018)’ 등 다수의 통일 관련 칼럼을 집필하였고, ‘코로나 이후의 동
시민행정신문 이정하 기자 | 대한항공은 항공 화물 운송에 필요한 종이 운송장을 디지털 문서로 바꾸는 ‘전자항공 운송장(e-AWB)’을 의무 시행한다고 13일 밝혔다. 한국에서 출발해 북미·유럽·일본 등 해외로 운송하는 일반 화물부터 전자항공운송장을 우선 적용한다. 전자항공운송장은 종이 운송장을 디지털 문서로 대체한 것이다. 기존에는 항공운송장과 부대서류를 출력·작성하고 접수 카운터를 방문하는 등 비효율적인 절차를 거쳐야 했다. 전자항공운송장을 이용하면 화물 접수부터 도착지 인도까지 전 과정이 간소화된다. 화물 운송에 필요한 정보를 정확하게 전달하고 화물 추적이 쉬워지는 등 운송 과정에서의 투명성을 높일 전망이다. 불필요한 절차와 비용을 없애 업무 효율도 높아진다. 종이 사용량을 줄여 환경을 보호하고 ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 경영을 실천한다는 의미도 있다. 대한항공은 현장 혼선을 줄이기 위해 화물 고객사와 간담회를 열고 시범 운영을 마쳤다. 올해 12월까지 전자항공운송장 사용 계도 기간을 두고, 내년 1월부터 한국발 화물 운송에 의무 적용할 계획이다. 향후 전 세계 지점에서 출발하는 대한항공 화물편으로 전자항공운송장 사용을 확대하는 것이 목표다.
