By Lee Kap-soo

Daegu City Council Chairman Lee Man-kyu and Councilors Lee Jae-hwa and Son Han-kook met with a delegation from the Mongolian HR Club on August 31 and welcomed the Mongolian businessmen to Daegu for training.

The Mongolian HR Club (Human Resource Manager's Club) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) formed in 2012 to support the development of human resource policies in Mongolia and promote industrial development through communication and cooperation among relevant experts.

The club currently has about 16,000 members, including large companies, organizations, and government officials.

The Mongolian HR Club's visit to Daegu was organized for the purpose of conducting preliminary inspections and consultations to promote training and medical and cultural tourism exchanges with Daegu and Gyeongbuk for Mongolian businessmen, and exchanges with the Korea Park Golf Association to promote Mongolian park golf.

Starting with medical tourism in Daegu, the delegation will spend 4 days and 5 nights, including visits to high-tech industrial sites, park golf training, and cultural tourism, and will continue to promote the training of Mongolian businessmen in Daegu and Gyeongbuk in the future.

Lee Man-kyu, chairman of the Daegu City Council, said, "We welcome Mongolian businessmen to Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and we hope that they will enjoy the taste and beauty of Daegu for a short period of time."

He added, "We will continue to promote support at the council level so that exchanges and cooperation can be activated in various fields including culture and tourism."
